Relate North Kent's Drop In Services

The Drop In services are provided free and with no appointment necessary. The aim is to provide an opportunity to meet with an experienced counsellor to discuss a crisis situation. At the end of the session the counsellor will have helped you to examine the resources available to help you deal with the crisis.

Relate North Kent is able to deliver these services only through the support of the counselling team or where specific funding has been received. The service on the Isle of Sheppey is jointly funded via the local PCT and the Thames Gateway Trust. The Chatham service is provided through the voluntary hours kindly given by the counsellor. 

Although the service is provided free, we are grateful for any contributions that may be given by those using the service.

Where and When

We currently provide the Drop In Service at the following locations and times:

  • Chatham - Tuesday evening: 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
  • Sheerness - Tuesday morning: 9.00 am to midday.

We aim to provide the Drop In service at the locations above on the days shown. However, we strongly recommend that you contact the Appointment Team on 01634 846914 to ensure that the service is running on the day that you hope to attend. We cannot guarantee that the service will be running in the event of illness, extreme weather etc.
