Relate North Kent also work with other agencies. We are currently providing counselling for victims of domestic violence and abuse in conjunction with Women's Aid, funded by Charles Hayward Foundation.
We are continually monitoring and examining our services to consider the training needs and support for our counsellors, not simply to maintain the professional standards required of them but to ensure we strive to meet the needs of those seeking our support. We have a number of aspirations in this area to expand our services in response to actual needs rather than simply delivering the existing services. However, these plans depend upon securing additional funding needed to train counsellors in the appropriate areas.
